More restaurant work….

A close up of Vienna's face from underneath the table at breakfast.

Recently, we took Vienna out to breakfast. She has been in a few restaurants and has done very well, so I decided to take her to a more challenging place. The reason this restaurant is more challenging is because it is VERY busy, VERY small, and the floors are always full of distractions!

Because of all of this it took Vienna a few minutes to settle. But before long she found her usual spot right on my foot. She loves feet by the way. She just likes to be really close to me and she like to be touching me. This seems really sweet, and it is, but I don’t want her to become so attached to me that she doesn’t want to be on her own. So I asked my son, Tyler to take her for the rest of the time we were there. I thought for sure that within a few minutes, Vienna would be inching back over towards my foot. But to my surprise she did not do that at all. Instead, she laid down very nicely between my son’s feet. But she did not insist on touching his feet. I was really proud of her! Especially for not going after every piece of food on the ground. Good job Miss V!

  1. Sounds like she's shaping up quite nicely! I always wonder about taking Jayden to Texas Roadhouse. They have amazing steaks, but they have peanut shells all over the floor. I just don't think I could do it.

  3. I personally feel that you are a highly strung out person who has nothing better to do than hate small dogs!. How dare you say that a dog in a stroller isn't a service dog!!. I'm a disabled women and I use my chawawa's stroller to help me with my balance, she walks at the side of it but when I go into a store I need to lean on the stroller and I need my service dog near me incase some infact alot of the public interference with my dog drives me crazy. I don't have to say or justify what my disability is and neither do any of the persons you seem to target and notice straight away. If their really not a service dog then that's down to the store to sort out. Also I definitely do not and will not have my service dog be a walking advert for the organisation that trained her, the vest doesn't provide the service lady the dog does. Ide much rather see a person out and about with their dog instead of the dog being left alone all day. It's ten times harder for the none trained dog to act like a service dog so give it a rest, mind your own business and you of all.people shouldn't be judging others weather they are living by your standards or not. Lighten up women. At least these owners want their dogs with them.its also useful training for the dog, their having to work hard to fight natural urges that service dogs have spent ayear or two learning. You also mentioned what if this that and the other should happen!! It hasn't happened to you yet, consontrate on what your doing with your dog and stop judging others when you know nothing about that persons illness or reason. I'm greatly offended that you said a small dog in a stroller IS NOT A SERVICE DOG, HOW SO WRONG YOU ARE.
